This Educational Institution is seeking an Occupational Health & Safety Business Partner who is capable of leading health surveillance, medical management, and student health priorities. The ideal candidate will have strong generalist safety knowledge, including expertise in injury management, incident investigation and risk assessment. This is a permanent opportunity located in Dandenong.
What you'll need to succeed- A qualification in Occupational Health & Safety, Quality Management or status as a Certified Occupational Health & Safety Practitioner with the Australian Institute of Health & Safety is required
- Previous experience within a similar role, with demonstrated skills (however not limited to) in injury management, incident investigation and risk assessment are essential
- Experience in leading Safety initiatives within an Education/Student Safety context is highly advantageous, however not essential
- Psychosocial Safety experience is also highly regarded, however not essential
- A background in Education, Health or Government Sectors is highly valued
