Work Health & Safety Advisor

Your new company

Your new company is a large employer within the transport industry looking for a Work Health & Safety Advisor with a can-do attitude to join their team for an immediate start with a view to permanency. This is a busy role in a supportive team where you will have the opportunity to apply already set-out frameworks and coach employees.

Your new role
In your new role you will be responsible for:

• Incident management
• Risk Assessments
• Coaching employees on new safety management system
• Providing WHS advice to employees
• Interpreting data and reporting

What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed, you will:

• Have experience within a similar industry in work health & safety
• Have the ability to take initiative and self-directed learning to follow SOPs and frameworks
• Have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a coaching approach to colleagues
• Candidates must have their own transport and be willing to travel within 30 minute radius for site visits
